The visitors had stamped out the Blues’ two-goal lead in through goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes by the time the whistle blew for half-time, and a second goal from the former in the second-half all but sealed victory on the road after the weekend’s draw with Brentford.

We started poorly, lost the ball constantly and defended poorly in the first two goals. Then we dominated and played impressively.
We need to make better decisions. You can see how we scored on the counter-attack. That shows what a formidable threat we can be. But we need to read the game and know when to keep the ball.” – Ten Hag told.
